Thank you for choosing to shop with us! We appreciate your business and want to ensure that you have a great experience with our products.  Please take a moment to review our shipping and returns policy before making your purchase.

SHIPPING POLICY

WITHIN UNITED STATES
We offer a shipping time frame of 10-12 business days from the date of order. All orders will be processed within this time frame and shipped to your designated address. We use reliable carriers to ensure that your order arrives safely and promptly.
The items are sent from California and delivery times will vary depending on the zip code the items are being sent to.
Once a shipping label has been generated, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number and how to track the item. Please allow 48 hours for tracking to update. Addresses cannot be changed after a shipping label has been created.

INTERNATIONAL
We offer a shipping time frame of 10-14 business days from the date of order. All orders will be processed within this time frame and shipped to your designated address. We use reliable carriers to ensure that your order arrives safely and promptly.
We use USPS to ship items internationally.
The items are sent from California and delivery times will vary depending on the country the items are being sent to.

S. MASSERY is not responsible for any additional international custom fees. We do our best to ensure the items are marked correctly to avoid additional fees.

 

DELAYS, MISSING DELIVERIES, or RETURNED TO SENDER
We understand that sometimes things don't work out right and parcels may be delayed or lost in transit. While we provide you with a tracking number, should you need any further assistance in locating your parcel, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you in receiving your items in a timely manner.

For packages returned to sender at no fault of the shipper, we can re-send at the expense of the buyer or refund the order less the initial shipping cost.

For packages returned to sender because of shipper error, we will re-send at no cost to the buyer.

RETURN + EXCHANGE POLICY

RETURNS
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for any reason. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we stand behind the quality of our products and believe that you will love them just as much as we do.

DAMAGES or INCORRECT ORDERS
If your order arrives damaged at no fault to you, we will do our best to rectify the situation. The same if we accidentally ship you the wrong item. Please fill out this form within 7 days of the delivery datehttps://forms.gle/nvGrbERxqcHz8BPJA
Please note: S. Massery's team is unable to process claims for shipments delivered outside of the 7 day window.

S. Massery is only responsible for the item getting to the delivery address provided with the order. If you choose to use a forwarder, the seven-day window will begin from when it is delivered to the forwarder and all other claims requirements will still apply.

In your claim, please include photographs showcasing both the compromised item and the shipping package’s exterior and interior. This allows us to better understand the issue and expedite the process. Claims without this will be denied.

Once assessed, our team will determine the best course of action. This may include sending a replacement or offering a potential partial refund. Please retain your item until we confirm the next steps – sometimes, we might ask you to safely dispose of the damaged product before sending out a replacement. Other times we will request that the item be returned.

 

Criteria for a Book to be Considered Damaged:

  • Tears, cuts, or noticeable scratches on the book’s front, spine, or dust jacket that exceed 1 cm.

  • Any marks or residue on the book’s front or spine that are larger than 1cm and can’t be removed.

  • Dents or crushed edges that surpass 1cm.

  • Multiple ripped or bent pages that hinder the reading experience.

  • Obvious production defects, like missing finishes.


Not Quite Damaged:

  • Minor blemishes on the back of the book or its dust jacket.

  • White spots, scuffs, or minor scratches on sprayed edges, slight bleeding onto pages, or issues related to the book’s top/bottom edge.

  • Slight discrepancies on sprayed edges.

  • Minor creases at the top or base of the spine, dust jacket, or corners.

  • Pages with a slight wave.
